    Hi everyone —

I’m also thinking about joining the Insider Program, but I wanted to share a few thoughts (and maybe someone here can correct me if I’m wrong).

When I tried Insider builds on one of my PCs, I noticed:

Some updates are buggy or unstable — occasional driver-issues, unexpected restarts, or features that don’t work properly.

You often get new features earlier, which can be cool if you like testing things — but it’s a trade-off: early features sometimes feel half-baked.

Backup is essential — I recommend creating a full system image before enrolling, just in case something breaks after an update.

If you decide to join, you might want to read this guide I came across on what to expect and how to prepare your system at https://gbwhatsap.id

Personally, I think Insider builds are great for tech-savvy users or enthusiasts who don’t mind occasional hiccups — but for a daily driver PC or work machine, a stable release might be safer.

Would love to hear from folks who are currently on Insider builds: what have your pros/cons been after 2–3 updates?

  • Go to Settings → Windows Update.

Click "Check for updates". Install all available updates, including optional ones.

Ensure you're fully updated on 23H2 before considering anything else.
