Recommendation to best bulk image resizer for Windows PC?
How much do you know about Dropbox's "Share as Zip" feature with size limit? I can tell you that by combining the "Share as Zip" feature of Dropbox with the size limiter, it can be a creative and completely free method to implement a batch image resizer for Windows PCs.
How to do it:
- Upload images to Dropbox: Store all your images in a folder.
- Compress and share: Use Dropbox's "Share as Zip" to package the images.
- Download and extract: Download the zipped images to your PC.
- Resize images using a free image editor: Once extracted, you can use free tools or online resizers to batch resize all images to your desired size.
- Optional Size Limiter: Before sharing or downloading, you can use online tools to reduce image file sizes, acting as a preliminary step in your bulk image resizer workflow.
Important note:
Dropbox's "Share as Zip" itself doesn't resize images; it just compresses and shares them efficiently.
To perform a true bulk image resize, after extracting images from the zip, you'll need to run them through a dedicated free bulk image resizer tool.
This method is a free workaround where Dropbox helps you easily transfer multiple images in a zip, and then you use free tools for the actual resizing process. It can be effective if you're managing many images but still requires a separate bulk image resizer program afterward.
