I also have this issue. Toggling the setting turns the night light on, and it does turn off at sunrise, but the next sunset time it doesn't turn back on. I'm current on Windows 11 updates and the graphic driver is also current. I've searched for a solution and have tried all except for the registry edit solution and the Windows 11 reset.
I also have the same problem on my SLS2. Did you have any solution so far?
It's working now. Possibly it was fixed in a recent update?
It is still not working on my pc. I have all the recent updates btw.
