I saw the virtual hard disk option on my Windows 11 laptop. My device only has 512GB, but this lets me set a huge "storage" size. Can I use it to store files? Does it actually give me more space, and...
No it doesn't give you more space. If you only have 200 GB free on your system, that's the largest it can be. You can set it larger, but once you go past the available storage it will fail.
Remember to never use up all the free space on your computer.
