How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

For me, it's acceptable while win11 is slower than win10. But it's hard to accept for no feature "never combine taskbar buttons". I can't work with multi-tab Excel and Word. Should I go back to Win10?

I would always expect a newer OS to run slower on the same old hardware. I don't have a problem with that. That's the cost we've always paid for major upgrades. But I do have a problem with Microsoft disabling a setting which is not a "feature", but an expected configuration. Give it back!
