How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.
That’s not right. If your logic was how it worked, then what shipped day one would be final. MS add new features all the time, and they have already added back in other features from win 10 that were missing. There is nothing stopping them adding the feature back in if they chose two, it’s purely a design design, not technical.
The current build might not have it, and there is no technical justification for why it’s missing, but it might be back in in the next build of win 11 if MS decides to listen to its customers.
