How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Thanks, so it is still Windows 11 and the processes and functionality do still exist, they are just switched off. That's what I thought. Fingers crossed then that they see sense and switch them on again.

If third-party developers - > prepare additional software, then your Windows11 - will look like Windows7, and will work like Windows7.
- drdougFeb 01, 2023Iron ContributorNot as far as I have been told. I have been told the function cannot simply be turned on. I have been told it would take a major rewrite of the code, but I have been lied to before, it could be MS spin trying to get us to accept their big mistake.
I have installed start 11 and now I have uncombined taskbar icons so how is that possible if a major rewrite is required.
