- May 23, 2022Dear people. Thank you for trying to help me, thank you very much. I solved the problem quite simply, I decided to reset the system to factory settings. And yes, I successfully managed to update after that. Thanks again to everyone who tried to help.

I have TPM 2.0, as well Dollza, and I'm experiencing the same issues. I've found some potential solutions that I am still testing. I'll get back to you if I discover anything of value. In the meantime, I'll be following this thread closely. Thanks for opening this thread.

Hope someone can help. For you don’t want to sit on such an assembly all the time, it is not stable.
- CallistemonMay 14, 2022Copper ContributorEach of these builds will only be provided cumulative updates for a few more months before you need to install further builds, which will eventually end on 22H2 if you are in the Beta channel, but the Dev channel is continuing into 2023 now. Beta switched from 21H2 to 22H2, and soon after Dev switched from 22H2 to further.
- ChristIsLordMay 12, 2022Copper ContributorHi Dollza,
I've given up on the Windows Insider Program. This was literally my first experience with the program and needless to say, it left a terrible taste in my mouth. I have no desire to receive Windows Insider updates if they're going to compromise my OS.
For a company that makes so much money, this is seriously, amazingly pathetic. They should be putting their users first and this embarrasingly obvious oversight only emphasizes Microsoft's incompotence with running a program like this. If someone didn't get fired over this, it wouldn't surprise me. Microsoft has always struggled with looking internally. There low standards for user satisfaction has destroyed my trust in them.
I resolved this by turning unenrolling in the Windows Insider program, rebooting, and running Windows update again. The 22610 update hung in Windows update, locking up my ability to check for new updates. I overcame this by clicking the "Pause for 1 week" button and then clicking it again to unpause it. This made the 22610 update disapear from my frozen Windows update session. I was then able to check for updates again and it began downloading a non-Insider cummulative update and all is well again.
I wish you the best with your pursuit for a solution. I'm done though. Fool me once...
