I tried but i don’t think they read me ahah
- JDK55Nov 17, 2021Copper ContributorI called Microsoft support, and they told me that their engineers are working on backup to an external drive, but at this time only onedrive is available for backup.

JDK55 That is great news. I have been trying to perform backups using the Windows 7 backup option that is now part of the Control Panel. However, I have not successfully been able to totally complete one. I constantly get an error that indicates my backup drive doesn't have enough space. The backup is about 50 gigs and there is 650 gigs free space. I hope Microsoft works quickly to resolve this issue.

ctopkisoutlookcom workaround solution is to use the external drive software like Seagate has Toolkit which allows you to do backup, so you don't have to wait for Microsoft. I think they are trying to push Onedrive.
