Question Incorrect product key

I have been trying in reinstall windows xp, however on the about windows screen it shows the product key but only contains 23 characters and not 25. When I try using this product key it does not accept it. Please help

    This is the most likely place to find your key. Look for a sticker on your computer case (desktop or laptop). It's typically a rectangular sticker with a holographic element.

    Okay, deep breaths! Don't reach for the axe just yet. Running Windows XP Embedded on modern-ish hardware like an Intel G41 chipset can be challenging, as official support for XP on that hardware is non-existent. However, it's not necessarily impossible.
