Prevent Windows 11 Home from Signing Into Online Account
Just got a new laptop.
Prevented the first setup of forcing me to use an online account.
Created a local account. After a few updates Windows has decided to log into my Microsoft account without even asking me.
I sign-out, but it keeps signing back in.
How can I prevent Windows from signing into an online account?
I've looked at a few tutorials online, but some of the options mentioned aren't available.
I've installed gpedit, msc (not available on home version), not sure if that is even working properly as I change some policies but don't see them take effect.

If Windows has already signed you into a Microsoft account, you'll need to switch back to a local account:
- Open Settings > Accounts > Your info.
- If you're signed in with a Microsoft account, you'll see an option to Sign in with a local account instead.
- Follow the prompts to switch to a local account, providing your current password when asked.

On the OOBE interface, press Shift + F10 and enter "oobe\bypassnro" to skip the mandatory login with an online account.
