Phone link app will not launch
Before i get into all the details and failure history, I'd like to know if anyone has a similar problem, i.e. after you have received confirmation, from both sources, Phone and PC, that the installation and pairing has been successful, and after the splash screen appears, does it then disappear seconds later, signaling the end of the experience?

On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > Link to Windows (or Your Phone Companion) and ensure it has permission to access contacts, calls, SMS, photos, and notifications.
