Old edge icon still being used

Latest build, go into default apps and hit reset: it goes back to the old edge icon even with new edge installed, when will this be fixed?

    Hi,
    Latest build of which ring? slow or fast?
    are you using Edge stable or Edge insider channels (beta/Dev/Canary) ?
    because only Stable channel replaces the Edge legacy by default, which it can also be prevented using group policy or registry.

      Fast ring and it’s the stable version, you can actually recreate in most versions of windows 10, also create able if you install new edge to a gold image, sysprep. Any device you deploy too will get the old edge icon in the task bar
