NOT ABLE TO INSTALL Windows 11, version 22H2 Insider Preview 10.0.22598.100 (ni_release)

Still facing the same issue till now on public version .

Installation error in win 22h2 .

But Microsoft doesn't fix this yet.

    Please download Windows 22H2 Installation Assistant, it's a safe and simple way to update the stable version of Windows, of course this does not apply to the Insider Program

    Sm2022540so what I had to do to fix this was remove myself from the preview builds completely then fresh install Windows 11 with the public build. After that I was able to update, but I decided to stay on the stable version.

     

    I think when you have multiple PC's and you use the preview builds, there is confusion on which version is the right one for your pc and it halts installation.

     

    Unfortunate, but I'm much happier not seeing "installation failed" every day.
