New tab or new Window PC with an Internet browser?

I ask myself a stupid question (but, rest assured, that doesn't stop me from sleeping at night!). When I "Right click" on a link to open a new Internet page while leaving the current one open, I have the choice between "New tab" and "New window". What would be best? I have the impression that it opens slightly + quickly when choosing "New tab", but basically, what are the differences?

Of course I searched but strangely, although it is easy to find how to open or close tabs and/or windows, I found nothing that explains the difference between the two.

A new tab is a separate webpage open within the same browser window.

Opens a completely separate browser window. This means additional memory and system resources are used because you're running two instances of the browser.

New tab means a new browser page of current window. A new window means a different browser page.
