My iPhone screen frozen. How can I unfreeze an unresponsive iPhone?
If you had AssistiveTouch enabled before the freeze, you might be able to use it to perform actions like turning off the device or restarting it. AssistiveTouch can be a helpful tool to fix iPhone screen frozen issues, especially if your device is unresponsive and you can't use the physical buttons. If you had AssistiveTouch enabled prior to the freeze, you can use it to perform actions like turning off or restarting your iPhone without needing to press physical buttons.
Here's how you can use AssistiveTouch to fix iPhone screen frozen:
1. Tap the AssistiveTouch menu icon on your screen.
2. Tap Device within the menu.
3. Press and hold the Lock Screen icon until the "slide to power off" option appears.
4. Slide to power off your iPhone.
5. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the side button to turn your iPhone back on.
This method is useful because it allows you to turn off your iPhone when the screen is frozen and unresponsive, without needing to use hardware buttons, which may not work if the device is frozen. Keep in mind, this is only effective if AssistiveTouch was enabled before the freeze occurred.
