My iPhone screen frozen. How can I unfreeze an unresponsive iPhone?
If your iPhone screen freezes and won't respond to touch, letting the battery drain completely is a simple yet effective method.
Turn off the device completely to clear any temporary glitches that may be causing the screen to freeze.
First, leave the iPhone untouched until the battery dies completely and the phone shuts down on its own. Once the device is fully discharged, plug it into a charger and let it charge continuously for at least 30 minutes.
After charging, try performing a force restart to see if the issue is resolved.
This method is safe and requires no special tools, making it a straightforward way to address situations where your iPhone screen freezes and won't respond to touch and standard restarts fail.
It is particularly useful for completely unresponsive devices that won’t react to button presses or touch inputs, as it forces a full power cycle to reset the system.
