Move Windows Taskbar to Right

I always have my taskbar on the right-hand side of the screen.   With the Win11 update, I have no option to move the taskbar. How do I move it? Why get rid of this feature in the update?

Microsoft has been gradually redesigning Windows 11, focusing on a centered taskbar and modern UI elements. Moving the taskbar to the sides or top is no longer officially supported through the standard Settings, likely to maintain consistency with the new design philosophy and user experience.

I have to agree with the OP. Windows 11 needs to change it so the taskbar can be moved. It's getting in the way of games. If I move my mouse to the bottom the taskbar shows up and blocks the game. Why would Microsoft make a product with less features than the previous?

  • Atm, moving taskbar to right is not supported. You can also drop a feedback to Microsoft about this using Feedback hub.

At the moment, the taskbar is the hill I'm choosing to die on for windows 11, it's that important to me to be able to move it off the bottom of the screen and to a vertical position that I cannot bring myself to switching to windows 11 until it can be natively moved without installing a third party hack.
