Ok question, How do you stop the update from reinstalling it after you have uninstalled it? Because yesterday I uninstalled it on my pc and this morning it's trying to reinstall it and will if I restart my pc.

On the Windows update page, look for PAUSE UPDATES. Choose a date, and this pause any updates.

P_Dmentions Ok I will do that. Any idea if it will be fixed before it tries to reinstall again when the time is up? I don't want to pause every update that may be important.

This update installed overnight and now my USB and touchpad aren’t working properly. The cursor jumps all over the screen and any time I click something, multiple other windows open. When I initially tried uninstalling the update, it opened a delete program dialog and began deleting things without me clicking anything. I was finally able to get it uninstalled and have turned off windows updates for the time being. This needs to be fixed ASAP!
- P_DmentionsOct 01, 2024Copper ContributorMicrosoft knows there are problems with this update, and are looking into it. I am going to try and do an update next Tuesday 8th October, when Microsoft will be rolling out updates.
