Looking for best remote desktop software for windows 11, any recommendation?
Honestly, it is quite safe to use remote desktop software on Windows as most of the remote desktop software uses encryption (e.g., SSL/TLS) to secure data transmitted between the client and host. Strong authentication methods ensure only authorized users can access the remote device. In addition, proper configuration of firewalls and network settings is required to allow remote connections while maintaining security.
In fact, there are many best free remote desktop software out there. However, my advice is that don't use the Microsoft Remote Desktop software. It primarily works with Windows operating systems. While there are clients available for Mac, iOS, and Android, the experience and capabilities can sometimes be more limited compared to the native Windows experience. Users who frequently work across different operating systems might prefer a more universally compatible solution.
What is more, the ability to host a remote desktop session might be limited or unavailable in some editions. Additionally, Microsoft Remote Desktop generally focuses on providing basic remote desktop functionality without additional features like file transfer, chat, or remote printing, which are available in other tools.
