Look for a QR code creator free and no expiration
Hi,
I need to create some QR codes for labels that will be used long-term (product packaging and signage). I tested a few free qr code creation websites, but many of them either add an expiration date (e.g., 7 days or 30 days for dynamic QR codes) or require a paid plan to keep them active beyond a short trial.
I just want static QR codes (plain URLs or text) that never expire, no login required, and completely free, ideally without ugly watermarks or forced tracking.
Does anyone know a reliable qr code creator that offers free and permanent QR codes? Bonus if it's open source or privacy-friendly.
Thanks in advance!

QR Tiger is a practical online platform that functions as a reliable free qr code creator, supporting permanent static QR code generation without account registration or hidden fees.
How to use free QR code generator
- Open a browser and access the official website.
- Select content classification for the QR code, and choose static QR mode instead of dynamic QR.
- Input required content including links, plain text or contact information.
- Apply available settings to add custom logos and adjust color parameters.
- Preview the generated QR code and confirm normal scanning performance.
- Save the file locally by downloading it in PNG or SVG format.
Adopting static mode to generate permanent QR codes makes this platform a stable free qr code creator, applicable for regular display, printing and daily content sharing scenarios.
