Latest update give me a black screen

So the latest update is giving me a black screen.  I can log into my pc thru anydesk, so I was able to reinstall the update, and when it first started, it was giving me the percentage onscreen, but as soon as it was done, it went black again.  I also tried to reinstall my nvidia drivers, and with a clean install, and no drivers, it gave me a picture, but as soon as it installs the drivers, it goes black again.  Please let me know if any more info is needed and any help will be greatly appreciated.

    So I wasn't able to do anything, as I had to go away.  But the latest update fixed it, and now it is back to displaying stuff on my TV.  Hopefully it does not happen again...

    Force shutdown your PC three times during boot (power off during Windows logo) to trigger Automatic Repair.

    When it boots into Automatic Repair, select Advanced options > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. After reboot, press 4 to select Enable Safe Mode.
