Problem:
I updated to windows 11 as soon as was possible which i assume puts me in the insider program territory so windows agents wont help me.
Everything was going smoothly (except windows 11 has some issues with games like warzone) until last month when update KB5028185 would not install. It says it is installing and asks for a restart and then reverts and plops you back into the desktop where a windows updates asks for another retry to install(this is a neverending loop).
Talking to windows help they gave me a standalone iso updater which informed me it could not install due to missing TPM2.0 in my system. Im not sure how windows was allowed to install without one of its minimum requirements but now i cant get past the update, the standalone installer wont do it either, and windows agents wont help because i am an insider customer.
It seems there is 3 ways around this
1. I need a developer to find a workaround
2. I need to buy and install an external tpm2.0 device(if one exists) that will allow me to meet the requirements.
3. I need assistance in downgrading back to windows 10 which means microsoft would have to downgrade my license back to windows 10 as well (im not paying to downgrade, especially when this is microsofts fault in allowing me to upgrade when the os knew my system couldnt handle it)
please advise, not sure how long it takes to respond so i will hang around my email for the next few days, thanks to whomever responds.
