Issue with Installing Update Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25997.1010 (rs_prerelease)

Hi,

 

I have a Surface Laptop 3 and i am not able to install update Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25997.1010 (rs_prerelease). 

It is downloading and installing without any issue but when the system restarts, and the white windows logo comes up, it writes undoing changes made to your computer. Then when i check the update section it gives me error as per below: 

Install error - 0x80070002

The laptop had a firmware update through Windows Update section to version 17.101.140.0 on 11 of October but this update installation issue started happening from end of October.

 

Can anybody help me with this issue? it is really disappointing and annoying.

      I believe it is related to the latest update for the firmware. Nothing but that can be the reason. I tried everything, including factory resetting the laptop joining the Insider Programme again and trying to update to the latest build
