There is no simple and fully legitimate way to extract MP3s directly from YouTube videos. Downloading or converting YouTube content usually violates their terms unless the creator provides a download option. On macOS, the safe options are using official offline features or downloading audio only when the creator allows it. If you just need offline listening, subscription-based offline playback is the supported route. Anything that claims to extract MP3s directly may stop working or cause other issues.
