Is there a free app that can restore original created metadata date?
hi i am looking for a free app that can restore original created metadata in regards to date and time to a audio recording in mp3 and wav files? i made recordings on my tape recorder and it was configured wrong and it made the file names have the wrong date and time. it must have had a incorrect setting. is there any way i could restore it to t he correct date and time somehow? is it possible?

It is generally not possible to recover the real original date unless you have additional logs or metadata saved elsewhere.
