Is it Best to Delay Installing Windows Updates?
I've read that some people delay installing Windows updates because they prefer to wait until any bugs are worked out. That seems logical to me, but I ask: isn't it preferable to install the update immediately in order to get the latest security updates?
It's a balance. Installing updates immediately ensures you get the latest security patches, which are critical for protecting your system from vulnerabilities. However, some people delay updates to avoid bugs or compatibility issues that might come with new releases. A good approach is to enable automatic updates for security fixes while deferring major feature updates for a few weeks to ensure stability.
