In the new version of Windows , typing letters does not display them on the login screen.

I have a work laptop that has been slow for several years, so I reinstalled the operating system. However, when I log in and enter my password, none of the letters appear on the screen. I can't figure out what the problem is. I searched online for graphics card problem solutions, but none of them worked.
