I want to disable the sign in screen on screen wakeup

I don't have a password set.

I have set the settings sign in option to "Never"
I have followed the suggestions in How to disable password after resuming from sleep on Windows 10
and various other suggestions.

None of this has worked. Every time I set my screen to sleep, when I wake it there is the signin screen.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Sounds like Windows is still requiring a sign-in due to a security setting, even if you don’t have a password set. One thing that worked for me is going to "Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options" and making sure "Require sign-in" is set to "Never." If that doesn’t work, you can also try turning off the lock screen feature entirely via Group Policy Editor or Registry Editor. That should stop the sign-in screen from appearing when waking up the computer.

    Hope it helps!

You can test the settings by putting your computer to sleep and waking it back up. If you’re still encountering issues after trying the above, please let me know, and we can further troubleshoot!
