I need to download-Spotify podcasts to MP3 on my Win 11
- Nov 26, 2025
Don't use online tool. Go and with a desktop app instead. SpotifyBee is quite good at this and I am using it on my Windows 11 without any problem. You can check the step by step guide here:

Since Spotify encrypts its stream and doesn't allow direct downloading in Free or Premium tiers. So, you are not allowed to download-Spotify podcasts to MP3 on Windows 11. The only functional workaround is to record the audio as it plays. This is legal for personal, private use of podcasts in many jurisdictions, but distributing those files would violate copyright. It also violates Spotify's Terms of Service, so it's a "use at your own risk" situation for your account, though the risk is generally considered low for personal podcast recording.
My Top Recommendation: Using a Virtual Audio Cable & a Simple Recorder
This method is a bit more technical to set up but is incredibly powerful and reliable once configured. It creates a virtual "patch cable" inside your computer.
Software You'll Need:
- VB-Cable Virtual Audio Device: (Free) This creates the virtual input and output.
- A simple audio recorder: Like the built-in Windows Voice Recorder app or any other lightweight recorder.
