Try downloading the ISO and updating in place.
- I agree with this. An iso in place update should fix any messed up file and make the insider build update. If you are going to do this when you run the iso setup make sure to only select UPDATE. This will make it so the computer only tries to update not reset. Selecting update will not affect anything currently on your computer or setting

Sorry but if you have never done this I advise against this solution, because you need to do the right configuration, and the error may end up deleting your personal files and applications, so ask a friend who will do it professionally.
