How to Turn Off the Version Number Displayed in the Bottom Right Corner of Windows 11?

After updating the system today, the system version number appeared near the bottom right corner of the desktop taskbar. I would like to hide it. Is there a system setting, registry edit, or other method to turn off this display?

Yes, there is a way to hide the system version number that appears near the bottom right corner of the desktop taskbar after a system update. This display is part of the "Build version" or "OS build" information shown by Windows, and it can be hidden through a system setting or registry edit.

Yes, there are several ways to hide or remove the system version number or build information that appears near the bottom right corner of the desktop taskbar after a system update. The method you choose depends on your preferred approach — using system settings, registry edits, or taskbar customization.

The version number appearing near the bottom right corner of your Windows 11 desktop taskbar is part of the system's build/version info display, which is typically shown in the System Tray or Notification Area for quick reference, especially after updates.
