Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can cause desktop flickering:
- Go to Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).

- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Alternatively, visit the GPU manufacturer's website (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA) for the latest driver.
Reboot after updating and see if the flickering persists.
