How to restore the old Start Menu on Windows 11

The new Windows 11 Start Menu is awful. How can I revert it? I also want to remove the automatically added folders.

    You can change View from Category to List and you'll get old layout listing apps.

    The sudden appearance of folders like "Productivity tools," "Creativity," and "Games" is a known annoyance. Unfortunately, there is no official switch inside Windows to disable this categorisation.
