How to restore or fix old blurry photos on a windows pc?
I have a collection of old family photos that are scanned but quite blurry. I need to fix them on my Windows PC. My computer is modern, but I have no experience with photo repair. Could you recommend...

Using the Old Microsoft ICE Trick is a clever and free method to fix old blurry photos, especially if they are panoramas or images that can benefit from super-resolution techniques.
Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) is a free tool from Microsoft designed for stitching multiple photos into a panorama. However, it has a "super-resolution" trick where you can feed it multiple overlapping shots of the same scene to generate a higher-resolution, sharper image. Although primarily used for panoramas, you can also use this trick to combine multiple blurry shots of the same scene into one clearer, more detailed image.
Step 2: Use Microsoft ICE
- Download Microsoft ICE.
- Import your multiple photos into ICE.
- Let it stitch and process them.
Step 3: Generate a Higher-Resolution Image
- ICE will align and blend the images.
- The result often results in a sharper, more detailed image than any individual photo, effectively reducing blur.
Step 4: Save and Refine
- Save the composite image.
- If needed, do further sharpening or adjustments with basic photo editors.
