How to Resolve Windows 11 Driver Version Downgrades After Updates?
Recently, I installed a new driver through Windows Update, but after the update, I noticed that the driver version number is lower than the previous one, and its functionality or performance seems to have been affected. Is this normal? How can I restore or install the correct driver version?

you can use Device Manager to choose Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list > Have Disk to install the downloaded driver manually.

You will need to download the latest drivers and install them manually.

If the driver was working better before:
- In Device Manager, right-click the device and choose Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab.
- Click Roll Back Driver (if available).
- Follow prompts and restart your PC.
This will revert to the previous driver version.
