How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

- i would like this feature back too. I made the mistake of upgrading my work computer where I appreciate the feature the most!
- Please bring back never combine option otherwise it is very time consuming while I work with many windows. It is annoying too. It increases steps and decrease working rate.

Outlook pops up a window to remind user of an upcoming meeting. This forced grouping disrupts that feature.
And good luck trying to copy files between folders...- I have 4 screens, and it's nearly impossible to keep track of where an application is anymore due to the lack of app titles on the task bar. How is it that the CEO of MS, who is an engineer has not tried to use Windows 11?
Not all people work on small screen notebooks ... I have two 32" monitors, plenty of space, and seeing all the open apps as a seperate element on my taskbar makes me more productive ... honestly speaking this is something that could make me go back to Windows 10 because the benefits of running Windows 11 are few and I hate combined taskbar buttons.
- Generally fine with Windows 11, but the only feature that is stopping me from recommending the OS is the lack of "never combine taskbar" option. Not sure which hipster decided it was a great idea to remove it and force people to click 2ce to open apps vs once. Same as all the other posts, this is really the only feature tilting me at the moment. I wouldn't mind having the option back to "show all taskbar icons" bottom right. You can turn them all on individually, but no "display all" option. Just silly.
Few reg hacks out there now to fix this but would like to see MS re-introduce as a standard option. - I really want the never combine taskbar buttons back. when are they releasing it?

This is like one of the dumbest suggestion. May someone who is a Mac fan would have recommended this.
I hate that feature in Mac purely for productivity. And now Microsoft following the same route, why???I totally agree. This is what I dislike so much about the mac, which I use a lot. It really hurts productivity.
I do not understand why Microsoft does not add a setting for this. People that like this mac feature and have a lot of time can set it like that. And for people like me that also have other things to do can disable this super annoying "feature". So we can all be happy..
Pls bring it back, it is very annoying
So Microsoft removes a feature which has pretty well been there since Windows began. Expect some sort of backlash. Please don't force us to combine taskbar buttons - there is so much room on the taskbar these days - why force us to combine?
