How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

artad1974 I do not use Quick Launch and as such am unsure exactly what it is.
Can you explain to me exactly what Quick Launch is?
I see it isn't pin shortcuts to the Taskbar, which you can do with most apps, but that is what is suggested to be the best you can do without installing a third party app.
It is another sign of MS not understanding their users and you should search techcommunity for threads about it and post to increase the count of disgruntled Win 11 users.
- artad1974Oct 26, 2023Copper ContributorNext big update contains (23H2) "Ungroup taskbar icons" which was told by MS that they released it weeks ago, but still no official release only if you download preview channel.
My other concern is that it doesn't bring back Quick Launch which is also important for me. - drdougOct 23, 2023Iron Contributor
I posted a screen shot of my taskbar settings on Oct 19 which shows the setting available. You can tell it is Win 11 Taskbar Settings as it is different to other versions, so go have a look.
To confirm see a second screenshot below, note System Properties Windows 11 and update number, plus note multiple chrome windows showing on taskbar.
