How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.
it is not so fortunate for people like me who needed new laptop and the only choice is this windows "11". and with the wide spreading of wide screen, the taskbar has only gotten wider which means more items could fit. I wonder what bill gate thinks every time when he has to search for his tabs - maybe he uses apple now!
I feel your pain. I had to learn how to install a new hard drive a couple months ago when the current one failed. Having never done it, it was a learning and anxiety producing experience. I refused to buy a new laptop because of WIN 11.
So currently this is still not fixed? I was looking for this option today and there's nothing available. I have Windows 11 Home edition upgraded from Windows 10. Seriously...I have been regretting my decision about upgrade every single moment. It's a total disgrace to modify/remove something just for the sake of making "new product".
Please kindly give the technical department time till 1st of September i assure you they will come up with a new update.
Till then i suggest you to subscribe to insider preview beta channel so you can receive latest updates whenever possible.
So do not worry and please be patient.
