How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.
Has there been any movement on this? I moved back to win10 just to get this one feature as it's so unproductive to switch between two of the same programs (like 2 x vscode)
- Yes, it's already available on Insiders and should come to stable "Soon™". I think I read somewhere that it should happen by the end of the year or next year, but I may be remembering wrong. It's coming, that's for sure.
