How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

It's been added in insider builds, soon will make its way to the stable build too.

Yes, it is there on the Canary channel. Although it took several days to show up.

HotCakeX At least something... But in general I have awful impression of windows 11.
This stupid empty taskbar which doesn't do anything and why would you even take this option away? I mean if someone doesn't want to use it they just won't. Period. Take something from people away and then get it back and make people happy from that instead of doing something useful?
My windows have randomly reloaded few times on the first day of using it while I was doing some work. Pissed me off incredibly.
And also I was previously using win+V combination to copy both login and password, then switch to another window and paste both one by one. But no, Microsoft decided that passwords can't be pasted that way. And who cares if it has already been displayed near the login while I was pasting login? Security! It's theoretical not working security, but still, security! I'm sitting in the office. Behind me there's just a wall without windows. I'm developing a website and I need to paste credentials to debug things. But no! Let's make people's lives more complicated! You'll have to make extra click to switch to the desired window and you have no choice about it any more! Become happy when we give you back what we took from you without asking your opinion and also you'll have to make some extra work to paste that cursed localhost test password! Great! Thanks, Microsoft! From Windows 7 to Windows 11 you're updating design and making functionality worse from user perspective with every new windows version.
P.S. Also starting from windows 8 there was a bug that on parental control when you set access by days of week for countries where week starts from Monday it's moved 1 day from how it's supposed to work. It was still in place in windows 10. Don't know if it was fixed in windows 11, didn't check it.
