How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

This is a joke, MS need to stop letting children design their UI and understand that most of us have to use Windows for work and multitask at speed or face losing our jobs. Every new version of Windows gets progressively more like a table OS/UI I’d give to a 5-year-old.
- Jim_T1405Mar 18, 2023Iron ContributorThis is yet another good rant and I stand with all these rants. But one of the major points I'd like to keep making is that we USED TO HAVE THIS FUNCTIONALITY in windows 10 and you TOOK IT AWAY in windows 11. What in the world would let anyone in marketing think that this is acceptable?? Don't take stuff away. Any user acceptance testing at all would have shown this was a SHOW STOPPER. Give it back!

Hi , Dave_Kyndryl
"and understand that most of us have to use Windows for work and multitask at speed or face losing our jobs. "
Yes, you brought up an important topic, but currently it is artificial intelligence - it can lead to job loss - it is impossible to predict how much IT will be rebuilt, so we all have a big problem - competition with artificial intelligence is unpredictable - for IT people.
