How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Would StartAllBack be a good solution?
- Inu-YashaFeb 19, 2023Iron ContributorYes, it's a really good workaround. I hope ms comes to his senses.

No, it will not be a good solution at all. Here are some of the reasons:
- First you should trust the authors of this program.
- Sometimes these types of programs are buggy and your experience very much depends on the specific configuration that you have.
- This program probably should be updated when Microsoft changes something related to the taskbar/start button.
- You should not get used to it, it may not exist in 5 months or 5 years. (Just like Windows features 😄 )
- Every time you start using a new computer you will have to install it.
If you really need to use third party software for this, use ExplorerPatcher. You can find it in GitHub, at least it's open source. This means it's free and a bit more trustworthy.
I used it on Windows 11 before giving up and going back to Windows 10.

Oh mamma, what a bunch of sillies things.....
I'm using "startallback" from almost an year and it's almost flawless 'till now.
Your reasons are inconsistent:
- If you are a "power user", a "geek" or whatever you call yourself, you use a ton of programs made by a lot of gifted programmers (such as nirsoft or many others). Are you scared of leaking information? Burn your pc (and smartphone).
- Is there a SINGLE program bugless? Are you kiddin'? Again, burn your pc (and smartphone too).
- It needs to be updated? And what's the problem? Update. 🤷🏻
- Are you really saying (ok, writing...) that you cannot use a software because it could be dismissed after some time? And so what? You'll find another one.
I'm really shocked that someone so close minded dares to give computer advice.
P.S.: no, I'm not linked to startallback or whatever.
