How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

It seems no one at Microsoft listens to feedback. Obviously there is still no plan to solve this. I installed Win 11 as soon as it was available and promptly reverted back to Win 10 once I got to know that some "genius" at Microsoft decided this feature was not necessary. I'm not installing a third party app to just have this basic feature so I'm never upgrading to Windows 11 until this feature is brought back by tone-deaf Microsoft. The copycat programmers at Microsoft thought of the fashion and not about function.

Hi Helios8
" It seems no one at Microsoft listens to feedback "
This is not true!
Microsoft needs feedback, I suggested closing this post because it has a development, but - > received a response that they are still waiting and are interested in user feedback!

Deleted Are you kidding? There's no need user feedback in restoring a useful function removed without asking! And Microsoft should have learned it with Windows 8 and its ridiculous start menu.

From what I know -> this function will not be in Windows11 - therefore further opinions will not change anything, certainly there is no explanation of the reasons I wrote about earlier.
Best regards

- Jim_T1405Mar 30, 2023Iron ContributorI highly doubt it. Gates would have bought this from the developer and made the guy rich. Because good code is good code and if someone else wrote good code, Gates was smart enough to buy it and use it as a starting point.
FIX IT!- drdougMar 31, 2023Iron ContributorMaybe you have hit upon why?
Gates has no involvement with Windows 11 and has not been on the board of MS for a long time.
