How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.
I think we all need to start raising the profile of the issue. No one at MS reads this blog. For example, start and posting about it on twitter with a link to this page and tag the MS people leading in this space (@panos_panay, @christinakoehn, @Windows). If anyone has their emails share that and start mailing them direct. Nothing will change otherwise. If people look at this post it has thousands of views and 40 odd pages of comments. That’s a lot of 'engagement' to just ignore.

Would be great to see if Dave Plummer of youtube "dave's garage" fame has much pull or connections still at MS @davepl1968- BeNiceOct 11, 2022Copper Contributor
Well, lets hope. As far as I can remember, it was in 2000-2002 when MS reacted to one of my reported "anomalies" in Windows 2000/XP.
Those good old times... .
Back then I uploaded an virtual PC Image directly to MS (they just bought the company who developed Virtual PC/Server) with a mail, how to reproduce the steps.
Sadly those time are long gone. Now it feels that they are as far away as the moon for us... .
