How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

It seems Microsoft employees only get small screen laptops. I have two 32" 4K monitors. I don't see any reason why I should combine me taskbar items, for example VS Code instances. Sometimes I have 3-5 instances open at the same time. As I have plenty of taskbar space I want each instance have its own icon when dragging files from one instance to the other. This is how my workflow is supported. Not having this option lead to Windows 11 being uninstalled from my machine after 4 hours of working with it as it does not give me any benefits but prevents my workflow
