How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Not even close. At least this is easily fixed with a patch. The worse one is virtual desktop transition. Used to be animated, so you could see the screen slide left/right when you moved to a new desktop. Not in 11. Now its a delay... then you are just on the new screen. You can't tell if you moved left/right... or if you've reached the end. So if you're used to scroll right a few times until you hit the end, you can't do that. The little delay makes you wonder if you hit the right key combo, so you do it again... now wait now you've gone too far... then when you land there's a delay while the background changes. Its all just horrible.
My new laptop came Win10 and I will *NEVER* install 11 on anything again. As soon as I'm fully migrated to the new laptop the old one will be nuked and Win10 re-installed from scratch.
