How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Agreed and I have commented in another string on this issue. If forced to upgrade to Win 11 again and there's no "Never Combine Task Bar" option, we might have to hire more people. Accountants need multiple open Excel windows and need to see everything that is open. Mousing over an icon to then try to choose the one to switch to (and get wrong half the time because you can't distinguish one from the next) is an insane waste of time and it's extremely frustrating. I don't know how to get MS to understand this. It's ruining my one-person CA/Finance business. I return to strings like this every day to leave comments and likes. It's that important. 😡

Same here, my productivity is ruined. I hope everyone who comes here also votes in the Feedback Hub app, as that is pretty much the only channel through which MS can find out about our discontent.
