How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Really wishing I didn't update. I can not live without "Never Combine"
I really hope they change this or I will need to go back to windows 10

Note that you have only 10 days (or so) to go back, and it seems they won't solve this problem until summer. If I were you, I would go back — I missed my opportunity, and haven't yet gotten used to this new arrangement.
- AdagioBJan 31, 2022Copper ContributorI really wish I could revert back to Windows 10. Unfortunately for me I missed the deadline as I got sick (Stupid evil Corona) just after downgrading to Windows 11 and didn't get well before it was too late. At least I only did it on my work computer, but I don't want to spend a lot of time to reinstall everything again
I recommend everybody to revert back to Windows 10- MattMasonJan 31, 2022Copper ContributorFYI I just did a clean install of Windows 10 on a new laptop that only ever had Windows 11 installed and it detected the windows license and let me use the Windows 11 license for Windows 10. So no problem if you missed the deadline to revert back to 10. You will have to reinstall everything. I am so much happier on windows 10.
