How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

tlhintoq Has anyone on this thread experienced any problems with Explorer Patcher? i too am wary of it, such a patch would be a prime vector for malware or ransomware.

Hi
I must add that Microsoft for security has limited access to applications and users - to system tasks, for this reason the taskbar is so little functional, but it provides the highest security!
Thank you for analyzing the threat and having doubts!
No one needs an encrypted computer!- tlhintoqJan 30, 2022Iron ContributorFine on my machine for months.
And it is open source with lots of people looking at it that would raise an alarm.- mikek88Jan 30, 2022Brass ContributorThat is good to hear about Explorer Patcher. you know, Microsoft could have done itself a big favor by not sticking an arbitrary 10 day limit on reversion to Win 10. 100 days or no limit at all would have given them valuable feedback: anyone willing to spend the effort to revert from a new system to an old system would clearly have a beef. Satya could get a weekly summary of the reversions and this problem would have been fixed by now!
